About the Item

A pair of monumental red lacquered Chinese palace vases on stands. These are crafted out of wood and paper mache. There are many motifs around these large pieces, cranes, swallows, flowers and birds of many different varieties. Interestingly these pieces have slightly different bases. One has three feet and one has 5 feet. The vase on their pedestals are 51 inches tall. I measure approximately 41.25 inches tall for the vase itself. These are in very rough condition. Although stunning there are many chips and losses. Quite a few areas of repair and repaint. These are beautiful as decorative pieces and priced as such.
