About the Item
A fine antique Chinese Export silver compact.
Of an octagonal form with applied rose gold accents to each corner of the box and the edges of the hinge. There is also an applied 'TB' monogram to the lid.
The interior with a mirror and a later brass Houbigant rouge insert. Impressed to the brass insert for Houbigant / France.

It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition.
Condition Details:
There are some losses to the silver of the compact's mirror, a small dent to the lid, and remnants of makeup in the insert. Otherwise, there are some light dents and indentations here & there, some light edge wear, some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
Marks:
Impressed to the brass insert for Houbigant / France. The silver is unmarked.
