A stunning antique Japanese late Edo or early Meiji period Campana shaped bronze vase applied with a scrolling dragon. The vase is well executed and heavily made with superb craftsmanship and detail to the dragon which wraps itself around the neck of the vase. The vase has a very wide trumpet shaped opening and has an excellent unpolished age patina to the bronze. The vase has a six-character seal mark worn with age to the base. Offered in good condition with wear commensurate with age and use.
