Japanese mixed metal inlaid bronze vase, signed Inoue

About the Item

Bronze vase with inlaid decoration of birds and butterflies among cherry blossom branches, the neck and base with bamboo motif. The inlays are in hira and taka zogan in gold, silver, shakudo and sentoku. Signed Inoue zo in a cartouche on the underside of the vase. Japan, Meiji period.
