Large Vintage Chinese Floor Standing Wooden Storage Barrel with Lid
About the Item
Early 20th century, floor standing storage barrel made of wood with applied bent bamboo. The lid is secured with two pegs. The interior has been converted to waste receptacle with a plastic collar and basket. This can be removed for alternative use such as a laundry basket, storage or as a large scale planter to name but a few ideas. The color of the wood has aged to a lovely rich honey.

Condition:
Good, small losses, chips, nicks and scuffs, surface distress, nice rustic appearance, the interior rim with added plastic collar, loose plastic receptacle added to interior. Both can be removed.
