Chinese Export Six-Panel Gilt Lacquered Coromandel Screen



Fascinating Qing style Chinese export six-panel coromandel screen featuring a lacquer painted battle scene on a dramatic gilt background. The scene is bordered by a dragon motif and has decorative fans on the top of each panel and floral vases with scholars objects on the bottom of each panel. Supported by square legs with brass-clad feet. The reverse side is decorated with Chinese script calligraphy. Beautifully painted with intricate details from an estate in Hollywood, CA.
