Japan, a substantial early 20th century hand carved stone image of Ebisu one of Japan's seven lucky gods signifying business prosperity and patron of fishermen, circa 1912. His left hand long ago brandished a fishing pole and right shoulder supports a fish catch. He boasts an important family crest -Mon- engraved on his chest. This large-scale antique image was clearly hand carved in mingei Folk Art style for a special garden. It is the first we have seen both in this stunning large size and in this style. It would make eye appealing decor in your home or garden and a great conversational work of art. Its presence may even bring you greater prosperity as well! Hand carved. One-of-a-kind Only one.
