These stones were collected in Shizuoka Prefecture (Tokai region) in Japan.
This is a nationally renowned stone producing area.
It is only about 50 km long, but because of its steep slope, it is said to produce a wide variety of stones that are good for appreciation.
This stone has a very rare shape like an old monk.
