About the Item

A single Turkish raised panel door from the 19th century. This antique door from Turkey has a nice 11 raised panel design on its front side, with beautifully-rustic hand-carved and notched designs adorning each of the panels. The door is shorter than a standard door height, with an approximate height of 5.5 feet. The wood has a lovely old patina, which shows it's rich history and prior use. As with any of our antique doors, we strongly advise that you consult with your contractor or architect to discuss the necessary measurements and hardware to make this piece work for your project. This 19th century Turkish raised panel door could be used for a custom cabinet, or perhaps mounted horizontally on a wall as a headboard or above a sofa- a great way to add some architectural interest and character to your wall!
