About the Item
Antique double-leaf door in lacquered wood, painted panels, smooth lacquered and painted back, more simply painted. It has a push-open mechanism but no frame, as it was originally mounted directly on the wall with hinges. Original from the 18th century, from Umbria (Italy).
It was the door to a cell in an ancient convent, very characteristic and a beautiful historical find. Maximum dimensions: W 93 x H 208 x D 4 cm, opening dimension: W 86 x H 206 cm.
