Antique American Craftsman Mission Oak Barley Twist Column Fireplace Mantel 1900

About the Item

A good antique American oak Craftsman Mission fireplace mantel, circa 1900. The fireplace is made from solid stained oak to the the top shelf is supported by two substantial 'Barley Twist' columns and also connects a shelf below that is supported with a pair of corbel brackets to the underside, the shelves are about 10" deep. To the top, the back is decorated with eight rectangular panels with raised 'pyarmid' shaped caps. The fireplace opening is 39.50" wide X 39.50" tall, the fireplace is raised on plain pilaster supports. The mantel is in excellent condition there is no damage or restoration, all the finish is original and the mantel has a warm dark honey patina. The fireplace has the original metal fittings to attach the mantel to the wall. This fine antique Craftsman fireplace mantel came from a very grand Craftsman Mansion built in 1900, located in Portland Oregon. It is ready to grace your home!

Antique American carved oak dental cabinet manufactured by The Ransom & Randolph C., Toledo Ohio, Circa 1899. Arguably one of the best dental cabinets ever made, with so many unique features (and forgive the pun) cutting edge technology of the late 19th century. This cabinet was patented in 1899 and made of solid quarter sawn oak throughout, with carved accents above the beveled shaped mirror and carved & pierced brackets to the base with turned ribbed column supports.
