A mid-late 19th century English grey wash pine fireplace. This striking fire mantel dates from the 1870s and is stylishly decorated with repeating Greek key details across the frieze that create a stylish neoclassical look. It is finished in a grey wash and has been sandblasted to achieve a distressed look, becoming a timeless addition to interiors old and new. Dentals ornament the staggered shape of the mantel shelf, adding to its grandeur as the focal point of a room.
