Folke Bensow - Scandinavian Modern
A beautiful pair of benches (Park Bench No. 1) designed by Folke Bensow, Sweden, 1920s.
The benches are cast iron and pine wood - painted black. The benches have patina from having being used in a garden.
The benches have been used in exquisite interior projects as side tables.
A beautiful attribution to both classic and modern interiors.
Manufactured by Nafveqvarns Bruk AB, Sweden, 1920s.
Literature: "Na¨fveqvarngods, efter skulpturer av svenska konstna¨rer, Na¨fveqvarns Bruk" p.55. The model was shown at the Paris exhibition in 1925.
