Continental 19th c. Neoclassical St. Royal Pink Granite & Ormolu Planter
About the Item
A stunning and very unique Continental 19th century Neo-Classical st. Royal Pink Granite, black Belgian marble and Ormolu bird bath/planter. This exquisite bird bath/planter is supported on a triangular black Belgian marble base with concave sides and a similarly shaped marble plinth above. Atop are three Pink Granite columns with round mottled Ormolu plinths and beautifully decorated Ormolu capitals with scrolling foliate designs. Resting above the three capitals is the large tapered bowl with a mottled upper edge and wonderful smooth interior finish.
