About the Item

A pair of charming antique Oakwood large buckets or troughs with iron handles and green patinated iron bands, in good condition. These oval bins from Burgundy were typically used to collect grapes. The iron handles of the vessels were used to be installed into carts to make the load easier to transport. Minor fading, scratches due to age. Wear consistent with age and use, circa 19th century, France.
