About the Item
Vintage Murano hand blown gold flecks Italian art glass footed compote bowl. Attributed to designer Ercole Barovier for Barovier e Toso, circa 1950s. The bowl has a scalloped rim, with a textured interior with gold leaf decoration. The bowl is raised on sculptural base with gold infused decoration. The piece is profusely covered in heavy gold leaf throughout the entire body of glass. It glitters whenever the gold catches the light
