A pair of square white ceramic vide poches designed and manufactured by Fornasetti for Winston cigarettes, they feature the famous woman's face that we see in many variations of her iconic illustrations, the opera singer Lina Cavalieri. They are in lovely conditions, probably never used, signed on the bottom Fornasetti for Winston. Piero Fornasetti was an Italian artist and designer who was known for his whimsical and surreal designs, and his work in the mid-century modern style is highly regarded by collectors and enthusiasts. The ceramic vide poches features one of his iconic designs and they are likely be highly decorative as well as functional. Many items of Atelier Fornasetti were used for Advertising of important manufacturers of all over the world.
