About the Item

19th century birdseye maple box with brass nail head decoration and iron lock plate and hasp. This box is hand crafted with beautiful dovetail joints visible on the corners, evidence of true craftsmanship. A wonderful glowing patina that only comes from age and use. With simple decorative brass nail heads on the top adding to the charm. Black iron lock plate and hasp, no key. 14 inches wide 10 deep 5.75 high Showing some minor warping and separations expected with a piece this age.
