About the Item
Beautiful antique Napoleon III tea box, crafted of black ebonised wood. The inlay is in Boulle style, marquetry of mother-of-pearl, brass and tortoise. The interior has tree compartments, with mahogany lids. On the front below a small storage compartment. This box is made in France, circa 1860-1880.
