Circa 1820 late Georgian period inlaid tea caddy, English. Mahogany with satinwood & dyed sycamore inlaid shells - artfully scorched & shaded in the large shells for depth. Floating tea well covers. It is always exciting to find differing shells on a caddy. Restored escutcheon & minor inlay bits. 7 3/8" x 4.5" x 5" h.
