A French 19th century Louis XV st. Belle Époque period patinated candelabra

About the Item

A spectacular and monumentally scaled French 19th century Louis XV st. Belle Époque period patinated Bronze, Ormolu, and Giallo Antico marble Torchière candelabra. This nine arm and most stately candelabra is raised by a circular mottled edge Giallo Antico marble base. Above the base is a pair of patinated Bronze winged cherubs with an Ormolu quiver of arrows at their feet while holding onto the trunk of a large Ormolu branch. The scrolling acanthus leaf designed branch disperses into nine wandering arms with foliate decorated bobeches and candle cups. This very impressive and statement making candelabra can be showcased at the base of a staircase as a focal point on a pedestal.
