About the Item

A stunning and extremely unique pair of Italian late 17th century Baroque period polychrome and giltwood mirrored candelabras. Each candelabra is raised by a rectangular base with fine giltwood borders below the exceptional most decorative scrolled foliate central support. The support displays richly carved polychrome acanthus leaves and giltwood accents with two elegantly curved arms with mottled candle cups branching out at the center below the original mirror plates framed within a lovely mottled foliate band. Above are additional beautiful scrolled foliate designs with charming blooming flowers.
