Pair of Mid-Century Modern French Brutalist Candle Holders in Bronze
About the Item
An unusual pair of mid-century modern bronze candle holders. These candle holders have a wonderful brutalist style and most likely date from around the 1960s. Great metalwork and definitely two-of-a-kind. The candle holders feature no maker's marks or signatures. Made of heavy, solid bronze alloy that has become beautifully patinated with time. Both candle holders have central spikes and are ment to be used with block/pillar candles. In different sizes and shapes they complement each other very well.
In very good vintage condition. Lovely patina. Minor signs of past wax.
Dimension smaller candle eholder: height 14 cm/ 5 1/2", width 10.5 cm/ 4 1/4", depth 7 cm/ 2 3/4".
