About the Item

Pair of sterling silver, Neoclassical-Style candlesticks, The Mueck-Carey Co., New York, Ca 1940. Each candlestick measures 9 inches high x 3 1/2 inches wide (at widest point - across scalloped edge of base) x 3 1/2 inches deep (at deepest point - across scalloped edge of base). A lovely lotus petal motif surrounds the upper part of the base. This motif also surrounds the bobeche. There is a minor dint on the side of one bobeche (see photos) that is commensurate with age and use. Dark areas on sterling silver in photos are reflections. In good antique condition.
