About the Item

Gorgeous Large grandfather clock, in excellent working order, Winsminster and Ave Maria Clock from the Portuguese house of the 19th century, "Reguladora", the oldest house in the Iberian Peninsula specialized in clocks Very decorative and antique grandfather clock, in excellent working order and preservation. Made of solid wood. The solid wood is of high quality and in excellent condition, with a layer of enamel paint done by hand. The machine has been checked by our watchmaker and works perfectly, with a movement of 21 days of autonomy, it works with three chime drums and with its key for manual winding. It has two melodies or chimes, one of the quarters, one of Winsminster and the other of Ave Maria, regulated from the dial by means of a needle. It is a very fine chime of a Winsminster and Ave Maria melody in the quarters, with a rake and hammer system on rods. The clock face is in excellent condition, in hand-carved bronze, in its upper part it has the needle of the chimes, regulator, the numerals combined between Roman and Arabic, and the name of the manufacturer, in its lower part, also on the same dial, the dial is protected with a door in thick and beveled glass, the clock hands have a black rococo design. On the front of the clock, it has a door to access the pendulum, made of solid wood hand-painted, with typical Chinese landscapes, in golden and reddish tones on a black background, called Chinoiseries. This is a wonderful, elegant, classic-designed hall clock, ideal for adding value to your home and for enjoying the chime of the quarters every fifteen minutes. It is an extraordinary piece of art and decoration. The measurements are: 207 cm high x 42 cm wide x 23 cm deep
