18th Century French Louis XV Boulle and Gilt Bronze Bracket Clock

About the Item

A Period Louis XV Boulle mantle clock The case is inlaid with brass and is further decorated with Rococo scrollwork and gilded bronze mounts. The detachable sloped top of the case is surmounted with a gilded ball and acorn. The clock has its original movement rings the hours on a bell which sits on top of the back of the movement.
