Fine French Verdi Marble and Bronze Mantel Clock of an Enrobed Wise Old Scholar

About the Item

This is a gorgeous and very unique French mantle or mantel clock featuring a gorgeous figure of a scholar in robes recling while reading books. The clock is surmounted with verdi green marble and the base is solid slate or marble with bronze mounts. The clock has no key so it may work or may need service by a clocksmith but these usually do work. The clock dates to the 1900-1920s era and is 19 inches wide x 7 inches deep x 16 inches tall.
