About the Item

Beautiful Late 19th Century figural bronze and marble mantel clock with a bronze sculpture of a Muse, depicting the Industrial Revolution on top of a marble mantel clock. The Muse carries a compass in her left hand, and her foot is resting on an anvil. On one side is a printing press and a sprocket and several sheets of paper on the other side. She has a Laurel crown on her head and she is in good condition. The base is marble or polished slate with the door missing with a clock. Not sure if the clock is working, its sold as is. The best part of this clock is the bronze statue with a great subject, the Industrial Revolution, its a great piece of history.
