History And Meaning Of Anemones:
It was believed that the flower sprang from the blood of the slain Adonis, who was a lover of the goddess Aphrodite. As such, anemones were often seen as a symbol of love and passion. In Victorian England, anemones were given as gifts to express love and anticipation.
Founded in 1878, Daum Nancy crystal is still recognized for its manufacturing expertise. It owes its fame to master glassmaker Antonin Daum.
