About the Item

A nice late 19th century French tower clock face. Made from zinc over a wooden frame. Original painted dial and metal hands. The hands move so can be adjusted. Remains of some of the original workings on the back. The face has 2 bullet holes which was common practice for German soldiers in WW2 to use the tower clock faces as target practice.
