About the Item

Colorful abstract art glass sculpture or paperweight features flattened teardrop shape with central core of cobalt blue and white colored glass with controlled bubbles, enclosed in a layer of clear glass in sommerso technique. The piece is signed in etching by the artist on the bottom and marked with foil sticker on the side. We are offering a similar sculpture in cranberry red color in separate listing. Adam Jablonski (b. 1936) is a Polish art glass artist and certified glass technologist with a diploma in glass technology who has been working with glass since 1952. He has won multiple awards in both national and international exhibitions and was presented with the distinguished Golden Service Cross. His work can be found in galleries, personal collections, and museums worldwide, including Corning Glass Museum.
