This wonderful unusual vintage small resin ovoid egg shaped sculpture has floating resin pieces inside in large shapes of the colors of purple, tan, gray, yellow and translucent inside the red resin. The red casts a color of magenta red. Each side is different. It is from the 60's. The custom lucite base is an additional add on to hold the sculpture in place and give it a little height. It has an incised indentation for the sculpture to sit in. The lucite base is at 3.25" x 3.25" x 2" H. The resin sculpture egg shape alone is 5" H x 3" D x 3" W. It has great shape and great colors. Makes a great desk accessory and console table sculpture. Sorry the photos do not do justice to the brilliant translucent resin colors especially the red. We just had to make a new lucite base with a new incised indentation for the resin egg...

Created circa 1994 as part of a limited run of 500 pieces, this handled portrait vase is stamped 296 Edition 29A out of 500 Picasso by Padilla Mexico and bears an original Padilla paper label. The front is signed "Picasso" in blue script, reflecting the artist’s unmistakable style.
Standing 12 inches high, 5.5 inches wide (including the handle), and 3.5 inches deep, this piece features a striking hand-painted abstract portrait. The cream/ivory base is accented with dark green outlining the rim, while ochre tones are used for the expressive scraffito hair-like design. The face and decorative swirl patterns are rendered in deep blue, while lavender brushstrokes elegantly swirl around the lower half. "Thoscene" symbolizes the fleeting nature of political stories, urging a more unified understanding of our collective psyche. This installation invites audiences to contemplate the illusions within political discourse and reevaluate narratives shaping perspectives. "Thoscene-Deceptive Realities" highlights the transformative power of art in challenging societal norms and fostering a harmonious collective consciousness. The installation will soon head to Korea.
The outside finish can be in different styles: recycled grey steel, off-white, or wabi-sabi with raw, unglazed, and untreated clay.
