This stunning nephrite picture frame is crafted in the iconic style of Fabergé, the legendary Russian jewellery house renowned for its exceptional artistry and expansion into luxurious decorative objects.
Made from rich green nephrite, the rectangular frame features an elegant oval picture window. Its front is beautifully embellished with vermeil detailing, showcasing laurel wreaths and ribbon-tied swags - hallmarks of Fabergé’s refined, historically inspired aesthetic.
The reverse side includes fold-out strut stands and bears spurious maker’s marks.
Accompanying the frame is a Fabergé-style presentation box, fashioned from pale wood and lined with plush cream fabric and velvet, though not an exact fit. Currently, the frame displays a printed portrait of Grand Duchess Tatiana Nikolaevna of Russia, enhancing its historical appeal.
