Introducing a one of one, hand-carved Organic Modern sculpture in a combination of solid Ash and Steatite Soapstone. Dubbed "V" by sculpturer and artisan Mark Lebanc this dynamic and compelling piece is an exclusive one of one, making it the very epitome of "one-of-a-kind". Carved from a solid slab of sustainably sourced Ash, and finished with a hard wax with a warm, matte sheen this incredible work of art is ideal for collectors and designers alike.
The rustic "V" topper pivots 360 degrees adding a playful and changing element to the piece. The base, carved by hand from a solid slab of soapstone remains perfectly balanced no matter which position the Ash topper has been turned.
Mark Leblanc (currently on display in the ABT Modern Studio & Gallery) is a highly skilled woodworking artisan and sculpture artist who creates exceptional studio craft pieces from his studio in Deland, Florida. He has honed his skills over time and his work is deeply rooted in material, process, and form.
