About the Item

Ceramic sculpture "Pavoncella," from the RIMINI BLUE series, made by Aldo Londi for Bitossi, in a special glaze blue color, which gives the strong expressiveness of this collection. Blue encompasses different tones and shades, made particular by touches of green and yellow brush, made brighter by the roughness of the material, etched by small geometric friezes that intersect as in the weave of a soft fabric. The collection in production since the 1950s/60s is timeless and owes its success to the originality of the shapes and the genius of the master potter who, with his exceptional technical skills and experience, used traditional craft methods to create distinctive and expressive timeless shapes, patterns and glazes. The sculpture is in very good condition, small loss of color near the beak unnoticeable, only slight signs of time.
