About the Item

This stunning huge sculpture is a life-size antique bust and is a copy of that by the French nobleman Le Comte 1783, crafted in 1900 using painted plaster and carved by hand. The piece depicts a realistic representation of the subject in a style true to the artistic period in which it was created. The bust measures 50cm in length, 30cm in width and stands at a huge 90cm tall. The bust was crafted in France and is an exceptional work of art and would make a beautiful addition to any collection or be a standout statement piece in any space. Condition Report There is a repair to the bust stand base, to the back. The bust is lacquered in black and is very heavy.
