Pair of pyramids of Grand Tour made out of marbles and wood, Italy 1830.

About the Item

Pair of pyramids of Grand Tour for Wunderkammer, made of ebonized wood, covered with marbles and pietra dura. The large appliances are in violet breach. On the sides of each pyramid, at the base of the breach there are half round egyptian porphyry. On the front there is a piece of spanish brocatelle and a piece of lapis lazuli. Brass elements. Italy first half of 19th century.
