A small Brutalist bronze by Hungarian-born artist Pal Kepenyes. The cast bronze sculpture features a couple in 2 sides. The front size is a high relief and the back shows the same image in bas relief. Signed on one of the sides.
An Hungarian-born Mexican artist, Pal Kepenyes (1926 - 2021) resided in Acapulco where he had a studio. In his sculptures we can appreciate romantic, ludic and social representations of history, which is told by juxtaposed metals and with important geometric, mechanical or multiform compositions out of the ordinary.
