About the Item
Fun and playful kinetic sculpture in the style of Calder by California artist Dan Levin. Known for his playful amalgamation-style creations, the artist has been doing a series of mobiles, humorously called 'Calderfeits' in various shapes, styles and forms with different materials and counterweights.
This example has a small wooden base with slim metal rods acting as the wireframe, two counter elements are present, a plastic yellow disc, and a found red orb/ball.
Dimensions of the piece fluctuate as it moves but the ones provided are taken from the widest / deepest points. Dan Levin is represented in both Montecito and Palm springs for his unique art.
