Minimalist Functional Design Music Stand Rupor White Dreams by Natalie Katwal
About the Item
Rupor is an acoustic art object which fills the world with the magical sound of music from your gadget. It is a musical object and a functional sculpture made of artificial stone mass, which does not vibrate when sound is applied. And the object itself, with its impressive dimensions, does not absorb space, but, on the contrary, gathers it into a single whole, like a compositional centre. Both loud and quiet, and with no sound distortion.
Rupor is a part of the ‘White Dreams’ collection by Berlin based designer Natalie Katwal. ‘White Dreams’ is known as a dream experience which cannot be described. The project aims to describe perception of reality through decoding the subconscious motives of personality in dreams.
For the artist Rupor is her form of Gesamtkunstwerk.

Sculptural Beechwood Functional Coat Rack Surfaced by Sho Ota
By Sho Ota
Located in Amsterdam, NL
At the intersection of industrial design and craftsmanship, Sho's sculptural works are both minimalistic and multi-layered. Every piece of collectible design is handmade by Sho himself. The development of the final form appears slowly through the making process and also depends on the wood – its appearance and texture can vary, making each piece unique.
With all joints of the coat rack left visible, Sho Ota brings back the pleasure of contemplating real wood. With his design objects, Sho seeks to find an alternative to industrially - flattened wood and instead encourages us to discover the imperfection of this natural material. Sho Ota's special sence of color gives this wooden functional sculpture...
