Beautiful 20th century Glass Decanter or Liquor Bottle from the Art Deco period in Austria around 1930. An absolute artfully crafted bottle made of red colored glass. This very decorative piece of Austrian glass art impresses with a timeless, modern design additionally adorned by this fantastic shimmering, special iridescent golden surface. Depending on the perspective and the angle of light incidence the exceptional surface changes its colors from red to a lovely shining gold with blue/ green and different copper tones. Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown red and white ribbons, with gold flecks Italian art glass Genie bottle decanter. Documented to designer Dino Martens for Aureliano Toso. Similar piece is shown on the Dino Martens book, model number 6293 (see last photo). The decanter has its original stopper filled with gold leaf. It also has an original "Made In Italy" item number label underneath (folded). The alternating ribbon design creates a unique swirling pattern throughout the piece. You can feel each line on the shade, since it is not covered in clear glass. Very elegant shape. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or coffee table.
