Antique French Pair of Gilt Brass Filigree & Glass Rococo Style Perfume Bottles

About the Item

A delightful French luxury pair of antique oversized Ormolu perfume bottles in excellent condition, of the Hollywood Regency period. Extensive Art Nouveau decoration for the pierced and filigree brass work, with perforated leaves all around and on both sides of the body, functioning as well as a support base. The Decorative Arts body consists of 2 gold amber beveled glasses that reveal the inside container in filigree. Each stopper shaped like a big leaf is fitted with a glass dipstick. Can be bought individually. Excellent condition, no damage to the fine decor These perfume bottles have been chosen by Beth Diana Smith Interior Design for her room at Kips Bay Decorator Show House New York 2024

This large antique perfume bottle is unsigned, but presumed to have been made Bohemia (Austria or the Czech Republic) in circa 1880 in the Renaissance Revival style.
