British Studio Pottery Carafe by Joe Finch, Mid-Late 1980s
About the Item
An earthenware carafe by Joe Finch, respected British studio potter. Joe is the son of Ray Finch of Winchcombe Pottery, where he began his career in 1964.
Finch has a strong preference for wood firing. He has been based in West Wales since the early 1980s.
This piece dates from that period of his work.
Finch has also worked with the Leach Pottery, Cornwall.
