About the Item

The robust &, heavily cast bronze mortar rising from a flattened circular base to a body with turned moldings and a broad flaring rim. Exhibiting a very old weathered surface with a superb old patina overall. Complete with what appears to be its original bronze pestle. The mortar measures 5.75” high x 7.25” diameter. Weight, 14.4 lbs. (16.1 lbs with pestle).
