Wonderful Antique Japanese Meiji Period Bowl in Copper 19th Century

About the Item

Wonderful Antique Japanese Meiji Period Bowl / Cachepot in Patinated Copper, 19th Century. This is a lovely and beautifully patinated cachepot / planter in embossed copper from Japan. Most probably late 19th century, Meiji period. The embossed scene depicts a man playing a musical instrument with spectators. Great details like the decorative edge and the numerous elegant embossed shapes and forms around the scene. Comes in a good antique condition with a nice patina. Signed at the base.
