About the Item

A fine antique Dutch Delft vase or jar. The body decorated with cartouches of stylized peony bouquets on a latticework ground. The shoulder decorated with alternating cartouches of peonies and stylized satyr heads, and the base decorated in a panel of stylized landscape designs around their circumference. With wide depth and range of colors in the blues and in the creamy white of the glazed ground. Simply a wonderful early Dutch Delft vase! Date: Mid-18th Century Overall Condition: It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition. Condition Details: There is some crazing to the interior, some chips and flakes to the foot, some crazing (particularly to the base and the interior). There are chips, flakes, and losses to the mouth and footrim. Otherwise, there is some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Marks: Unmarked Measurements: Height: ca. 7 1/4 in. Diameter: ca. 6 7/8 in. Items purchased from this dealer must delight you. Purchases may be returned for any reason for a period of 7 days.
