Antique Meiji Japanese Cloisonne Enamel Vase Wisteria Attributed To OTA Silver

About the Item

An antique Japanese Hayashi school brass and enamel vase, Meiji period, 1868 to 1912. The baluster body is finely worked in silver wire and adorned with a polychrome design representing wisteria flowers and irises made in the cloisonne technique on a midnight blue ground. The tapering neck and the base are decorated with polychrome foliage and floral patterns made in the same technique. Unmarked. Asian and Oriental Enamel Vases, Desk Wares, Home Decor, Interior Design, and Collectibles. Dimensions: H 5 in. D 1 3/4 in. All measurements are approximately Condition Overall good vintage condition. Signs of age and wear. Refer to photos.
