About the Item

Daum Nancy Cameo Glass Vase — “Branches de pommier en fleurs,” France, circa 1905 This breathtaking Daum Nancy cameo glass vase captures the ephemeral charm of blooming apple trees, rendered in exquisite Art Nouveau style. Created in France circa 1905, the vase features acid-etched and enameled branches of flowering apple blossoms, their soft white petals and golden-red centers brought to life against a warm gradient ground—from rich terracotta at the base to an opalescent ivory hue toward the rim. Subtle green leaves and sinuous brown branches stretch upward in a lyrical composition, evoking the quiet beauty of spring. The piece is signed “Daum Nancy” with the Cross of Lorraine, etched near the upper section, confirming its origin from the renowned ateliers of the École de Nancy. Art Nouveau, France, circa 1905. Acid-etched and enameled cameo glass in terracotta, ivory, white, olive green, crimson colors. Dimensions: H 8 x Diameter : 13,5 cm. Excellent condition, no chips or cracks. A remarkably preserved surface with light signs of age consistent with its vintage More than a decorative vessel, this piece is a luminous celebration of nature and French glass artistry, a museum-worthy collector’s piece that will elevate any curated space.
