About the Item

An exceptional and scarce pair Danish Art Nouveau floral decorated vases by Eiler Londal for Danico and dating between 1900 and 1929 although believed to be early examples. These stylish tall bulbous shaped vases stand on a narrow skirted foot with widening upper body and narrowed neck with fold back rim. The bodies for the vases are hand painted in thick rich glazes with flowers on long scrolling stems in typical period style described as Skonvirke style in tones of green, orange and brown on a rich blue ground.
