This porcelain vase is a large and fine example representative of England's renowned Worcester Royal Porcelain Co Ltd, in the period from the late nineteenth century through to the 1930s. During that time, handpainting was a speciality at Royal Worcester and some of the most popular subjects were Highland cattle, a Scottish breed of cattle with long horns and long wavy coats, depicted grazing and browsing in their native pastures.
